Meet the experts sessions will be held on November 9-10, 2016 between 07.30 - 08.20 hrs. There is no need to register for these sessions. If the room is full you may need to choose to attend another session.

COFFEE BREAKS

Coffee / tea will be served at no extra cost to all Congress participants in the Exhibition Hall as indicated in the schedule.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

The certificate will be available at the registration desk from 15.00 hrs. of November 9, 2016 onwards.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Kingdom of Thailand lies in the heart of Southeast Asia, making natural gateway to Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Southern China. Its shape and geography divided into five regions: the mountains and forests of the North; the vast rice fields of the Central plains; the semi-arid farmlands of the Northeast plateau; and some of the finest beaches in the world of the peninsula South.
Thailand's tropical climate has three seasons: hot (March-May), rainy with issued by sunshine (June-September), and cool (October-February). Average temperature during the day in November is 28 degree Celsius or 82 degree Fahrenheit. Casual and light attire will be appropriate.

PASSPORT AND VISA

Visitors entering the Kingdom of Thailand are generally required to have a valid passport and visa. The organizer recommends that participants contact the nearest Royal Thai embassy/consulate or Representative of Thailand in their countries for visa requirements.
Visa on arrival can be made for participants from the following countries: Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Mauritius, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Ukraine.

BANKING AND CURRENCY

Thai currency is the Baht. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport upon arrival and in other banks located in Bangkok. Hotels and stores also accept major currencies at reasonable rates of exchange. Major credit cards are acceptable by most local, commercial establishments. Please consult e.g. http://www.oanda.com for the day-today exchange rates.

SHOPPING

Bangkok, Phuket & Chiang Mai has abundant facilities for foreign shoppers and a number of shopping arcades. Most department stores offer a large assortment of top quality merchandise at fixed prices. You will find the commodities suitable to your taste.

ELECTRICITY

The power in Thailand is 220 V 50 Hz AC.

COMMUNICATION

Internet access will be available at the Congress venue, as well as in hotels and public places.

The official language of the Congress is English.

GUEST ATTENDANCE POLICY

All event activities (including sessions, meals, exhibition halls.etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered participants. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues,etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

SMOKING POLICY

ACPID is non-smoking Congress and participants are requested to refrain from smoking in the Congress Venue.

NO PHOTOGRAPHY DURING SESSION POLICY

The organizers respectfully request participants not to take photographs of slide during sessions. All materials are available via the Congress Mobile App subject to speakers permission.
